We are fully central heated and have heat lamps for our older and smaller boarders.   We have a range of facilities from grooming and pet supplies, to a hydrotherapy pool and water treadmill. Dog training and ring craft classes are also available.

Facilities

Carlton Boarding Kennels and Cattery provides fully central headed spacious kennels and cat chalets. All kennels, chalets and play areas are cleaned twice daily.  There are choices of indoor and outdoor runs.  Our site has a large outdoor exercise area for ample and safe exercise. 

All cats and dogs are fed twice daily.  We provide dry biscuits and meat, as well as treats throughout the day.  We welcome owners who prefer to bring their pets own food along.  Fresh water is always available in kennels, chalets and play areas.  Medication is administered wherever necessary.  Freshly laundered bedding is provided. 

We do not generally mix dogs, however some dogs do like to socialise with other dogs.  If you would like your dog to hang out with pals during their stay please ask the staff and we will do our best to find a friend for your dog at play time.

Day Boarding

We have purpose built day boarding kennels that are available with individual key pad entry for owners who wish to drop off and collect their pets on a daily basis at times to suit them.  Its ideal for busy people who work all day and do not wish to leave their pets at home on their own.

Dogs are walked twice per day.  Breakfast and/or dinner can be provided but please ensure you arrange this before day boarding commences. 

Day boarding costs £10 per day for 1 dog.  Discount is available for 2 dogs sharing one kennel.

Dog Grooming

Pudsey Ring Craft also operates on a Wednesday evening at 7.30pm if you are interested in showing your pedigree dog, please contact Peter Broadbent on 01132 394510. Match nights operate through the summer months.

Pet Supplies

We have a small shop which supplies bedding, puppy cages and pet food.  We stock our own brand of food Carlton Boarding Kennels Working Nuggets which costs just £11 per 15kg.
